God Loves the Best of Us
Music & Lyrics by Jody King
Performed by Joshua Seals

God loves the best of us
God loves the worst of us
God loves the rest of us
no matter who you are

Hello teacher, hello clerk
hello lawyer and soda jerk
hello teacher of
   nursery rhymes
we gotta get busy
   and serve mankind

God loves the best of us
God loves the worst of us
God loves the rest of us
no matter who you are

When we're loving,
   when we share
it makes us happy
   because we care
so spread God's Love
   and obey His will
we all have a cup to fill

God loves the best of us
God loves the worst of us
God loves the rest of us
no matter who you are

Hello England, hello Greece
hello America,
   we wish you peace
hello Guam and Mexico
we all have a long way to grow

God loves the best of us
God loves the worst of us
God loves the rest of us
no matter who you are
Yeah

2. The Ayyám-i-Há Song
3. Here Am I
4. The Báb

The Ayyám-i-Há Song
Music and Lyrics by Daniel Deardorff
Performed by Naimeh Heath & Daniel Deardorff

I will buy you a present,
you will bake me a pie
then we'll open the presents
and all get starry-eyed.
Then we’ll stand around the
ring all holding hands
for Ayyám-i-Há’s the gift
of God to man.

I will bake you some cookies,
you will paint them bright
to celebrate spring's coming,
to melt the snow and ice.
Then we'll stand around the
ring all holding hands
for Ayyám-i-Há’s the gift
of God to man.

A yyám-i-Há’s the gift
of God to man
and in the spirit of His giving
we try to understand
Ayyám-i-Há
the gift of God to man.

Then we'll stand around the
ring all holding hands
for Ayyám-i-Há’s the gift
of God to man.

Ayyám-i-Há’s the gift
of God to man
and in the spirit of His giving
we try to understand
Ayyám-i-Há
The gift of God to man.

Fort Tabarsí

Fort Tabarsí they rode, they rode
From Fort Tabarsí they rode

Chorus:
They raised the clarion-call
Yá Sá'hibuz-Zamán, Yá Sá'hibuz-Zamán!
For the glory of God, they raised the cry
Yá Alí'u'l-Alláh, Yá Bahá'u'l-Abhá!

Zanján they rode, they rode, they rode
From Zanján they rode, they rode

Chorus:
They raised the clarion-call
Yá Sá'hibuz-Zamán, Yá Sá'hibuz-Zamán!
For the glory of God, they raised the cry
Yá Alí'u'l-Alláh, Yá Bahá'u'l-Abhá!

Nayríz they rode, they rode, they rode
From Nayríz they rode, they rode

Chorus:
They raised the clarion-call
Yá Sá'hibuz-Zamán, Yá Sá'hibuz-Zamán!
For the glory of God, they raised the cry
Yá Alí'u'l-Alláh, Yá Bahá'u'l-Abhá!

Mount your steeds, O heroes of God!
Mount your steeds, O men!
And raise the clarion-call
Yá Sá'hibuz-Zamán, Yá Sá'hibuz-Zamán!
For the glory of God, they raised the cry
Yá Alí'u'l-Alláh, Yá Bahá'u'l-Abhá!
Yá Bahá'u'l-Abhá, Yá Bahá'u'l-Abhá!

The Message -- a poem by Louis G. Gregory

The Báb
O Herald of the King of Kings
From Whom creation's power springs
The mission thine to blaze the way
Which leads to realms of endless day;
To be thyself the mystic sign
Of perfect love and power divine;
To resurrect the souls of men
And wealth devise beyond our ken.
Thy shining form was sometimes sad
Yet still thou mad'st creation glad;
Through martyrdom did'st plant the seeds
Which fructified in wondrous deeds.
Grant all, through deeds without desire
To witness thy celestial fire.

Bahá’u’lláh
O manifested Sun of Man
Thy sheen the reign of peace began.
Thine exile proved to man his home.
Thy shackles freed the souls to roam
The universe of God's great love
Directed by the Heavenly Dove.
The kings, their homage due to thee,
Enthroned, etherial majesty,
Shall bring the treasures of the earth
Memorial to thy cycle's birth.
The sweetest carols angels sing
Proclaim the oneness of our King.
O deathless Flame of Beauty bright
Set fire our souls, bestow thy might!

‘Abdu’l-Bahá
O Servant of the Light of God
Help us to bear the chastening rod;
Like thee to bless when others curse -
So shape our lives by Heaven's verse.
How like the Father through the years
Did'st thou restrain the fount of tears
Which in thy children sought to flow
Forth from the deep of human woe.
How cheered the hearts that turned to thee!
How sweet thy rare humility!
With wisdom great thou did'st the Ark
Guide through the storms of hatred dark.
To vivify the souls endeared
The mystery of God appeared.

Unity House

Words & Music by Doug Cameron

Chorus
Come into my unity house
The rain falls down
The wind is strong
But it's warm inside
Come into my unity house
The day is long
We're singing a song
In the unity house.

Prayer -- a poem by L. Khai

O Beloved!
The Superlative of every good,
The Love that needs
No knowledge of face, or form, or speech,
The Love so great we can never touch Thy Reality
But whose touch has realized all things
And Whose knowledge molds life's essence --
Thou only art the Eternally Perfect
And the totality of beauty.
Out of eternity
Thou hast plucked the smallest grain
And called it time --
A speck of dust on Thy robe's hem
Is the material universe --
Thy thought in the space of an eyewink
Comprehendeth the spiritual universe.
O Thou! Who asketh for all we know
Yet givest all we know --
Infinity is not enough for all our praise of Thee,
O Most Adored One!
Origin of man's spirit --
Singular, yet All-Containing --
Though beyond any and all approach.
Thou art the life of every living soul.

God is One

by: Margaret Jane King

God is one, man is one,
And all religions are one.
Land and sea, hill and valley,
Under the beautiful sun.
God is one, man is one,
And all the religions agree.
When everyone learns of the three onenessess,
We’ll have world unity.

Rejoice, Rejoice for a New Day has Dawned

by: Benjamin Dlamini

Rejoice, rejoice for a new day bas dawned
The whole wide world is all one fold
Rejoice, rejoice for a new day has dawned
The plan of God has now been told
The Promised One by the name of Bahá
Came to bring a new day
Let us be happy, let us say:
Yá Bahá'u'l- Abhá.
Say Yá Bahá'u'l- Abhá (2X)

This is Faith -- a poem by Ruhiyyih Khanum

To walk where there is no path,
To breathe where there is no air,
To see where there is no light-
This is Faith.

To cry out in the silence,
The silence of the night,
And hearing no echo believe
And believe again and again
This is Faith.

To hold pebbles and see jewels
To raise sticks and see forests
To smile with weeping eyes
This is Faith.

To Say: 'God, I believe' when others deny,
'I hear' when there is no answer,
'I see' though naught is seen-
This is Faith.

And the fierce love in the heart,
The savage love that cries Hidden
Thou art yet there!
Veil thy face and mute thy tongue
Yet I see and hear Thee, Love,
Beat me down to the bare earth,
Yet I rise and love Thee, Love!
This is Faith.

-  Ruhiyyih Khanum, written on April 4th, 1954 (‘A Tribute to Amatu'l-Baha Ruhiyyih Khanum’, by Violette Nakhjavani)

God is Sufficient Unto Me

Revealed by Bahá’u’lláh

God is sufficient unto me,
He verily is the All-sufficing
In Him let the trusting trust.

Blessed is the Spot

Revealed by Bahá’u’lláh
Music by Elizabeth Habermann

Blessed is the spot, and the house,
and the place, and the city,
and the heart, and the mountain,
and the refuge, and the cave,
and the valley, and the land,
and the sea, and the island, and the meadow
where mention of God hath been made,
and His praise glorified.
